Moris Senegor, M.D., is a neurosurgeon who has practiced in the Central Valley of Northern California for nearly 25 years. Born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, Dr. Senegor has performed more than 8,000 neurosurgical procedures involving brain, spine, and peripheral nerve surgery. Dr. Senegor was the editor of San Joaquin Medicine for over a decade and writes a wine-tasting blog at senegorwine.blogspot.com. His book, Dogmeat: A Memoir of Love and Neurosurgery in San Francisco was published in March 2014, and his second book will soon be released. He is an avid photographer, bicyclist, wine enthusiast, traveler, and teacher of classical music.
